Dietary Aide

Part-Time 2nd Shift (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
This position is a great after-school opportunity for a high school student looking for part-time work.

What You'll Do
- Assist with meal preparation, food service, and meal setup for residents
- Deliver meals, snacks, and beverages while providing friendly, courteous service
- Collect trays after meals and ensure timely cleanup of dining and resident areas
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, dish room, and dining areas
- Assist with stocking, rotating, and storing food and supplies to maintain quality and reduce waste
- Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Work closely with cooks and other dietary team members to provide high-quality meals and exceptional service
- Help create a positive dining experience by treating residents with kindness, dignity, and respect
- Complete other dietary duties as assigned to support the needs of the department
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable, organized, and committed to providing excellent customer service
