We're looking for an Account Manager to join our client's growing team in Dallas, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with 2 years of B2B sales experience—elevator industry experience is welcome but not required. If you're someone who knows how to build relationships, uncover customer needs, and close business, this could be the perfect next step.
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining accounts, building trusted customer relationships, and helping clients keep their facilities running safely and efficiently.
- Drive Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales goals by growing service and repair revenue while minimizing customer cancellations.
- Build Strong Relationships: Develop lasting partnerships with new and existing customers through regular site visits, proactive communication, and exceptional follow-up.
- Generate New Business: Network within your territory and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and win new customers.
- Deliver Customer Solutions: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend service, repair, and modernization solutions that support their long-term goals.
- Prepare Proposals: Create and present service agreements and repair proposals by collaborating with internal operations teams and conducting site visits when needed.
- Continue Learning: Stay current on company offerings, industry trends, and local codes through ongoing training and development.
What You Bring
- 2 years of B2B sales experience
- Proven ability to build relationships and grow customer accounts
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- A self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and follows through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus)
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience in the elevator, construction, building services, HVAC, mechanical, facilities, or other technical service industries
Location: Dallas, TX – Local travel throughout the territory is required.
