Account Manager - Seattle, WA
Looking for an opportunity to grow accounts, develop new customer relationships, and drive service sales across a high-potential territory? Take ownership of service accounts across the Seattle area for our client - a leader in vertical transportation.
As an Account Manager, you’ll focus on building long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and driving service revenue growth within your territory. This is a client-facing role, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality support while driving account retention and expansion. This position includes a mix of customer site visits, in-office collaboration, and flexibility when not meeting with clients.
Elevator industry experience is preferred, but we’re also open to candidates from related industries such as HVAC, facilities, fire protection, waste-management, security services, pest control, or other service-based environments.
What You’ll Do:
Grow & Manage Accounts
- Drive Revenue Growth: Consistently exceed sales targets by leveraging tools and relationship-based selling to grow service revenue and reduce cancellations.
- Be a Trusted Partner: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular site visits, proactive communication, and timely follow-up.
Develop Opportunities
- Expand Your Network: Build relationships within industry organizations and service-based businesses to expand your network, uncover new business opportunities, and strengthen your pipeline.
- Customize Your Offerings: Collaborate with customers to develop capital plans tailored to their building’s long- and short-term needs.
Support Execution & Delivery
- Prepare Bids and Contracts: Accurately create proposals by reviewing blueprints, conducting site surveys, and working closely with operations teams. Prepare and present service contract bids, including detailed analysis and follow-up.
- Stay Equipped with Knowledge: Keep up to date on new company offerings, local elevator codes, service solutions, and product developments through continuous education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Elevator experience.
- Business development or sales background in a service industry such as HVAC, fire protection, construction, fleet services is highly relevant.
