Luna Data Solutions is looking for a People and Culture Manager with an outgoing personality for a client in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan area. This will be a permanent / salaried position with a hybrid work setting of 3 days onsite / 2 days remote. In this role, you’ll wear a few different hats—you’ll manage HR operations and systems, support recruiting and engagement programs, and oversee the day-to-day details that keep our office running smoothly.
You’ll partner closely with the VP of People to strengthen our culture, streamline operations, and scale systems that help every employee thrive. If you’re equally at home fine-tuning HR processes and creating an organized, welcoming workspace, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
People Operations & Systems
- Oversee and optimize our HR tech stack (HRIS, ATS, and performance tools) to keep systems running efficiently.
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Support employees with onboarding, benefits, leave, and HR questions with care and clarity.
- Use data and insights to improve people programs and help leadership make informed decisions.
Talent & Culture
- Partner with hiring managers to manage job postings, candidate communication, and interviews.
- Contribute to employer branding efforts that attract top talent and reflect our culture.
- Help roll out engagement, performance, and development programs that keep our team connected and growing.
- Support employee relations by providing guidance on workplace issues and promoting an inclusive, high-performance culture.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of HR or people operations experience, ideally with some office or operations management background.
- 2 years of experience supporting or owning performance cycles, goal-setting, compensation reviews, and engagement surveys.
- 1 yr. of experience with Lattice
- 1 year of experience as a single Point of contact in HR for a small business.
- 1 year of experience navigating evolving state regulations (CA, CO, CT, NY, NJ, etc.) and maintaining compliance across jurisdictions.
- 1 year of experience developing an ER framework, conducting investigations, and managing cross-state compliance considerations.
- 1 year of HRIS systems such as Rippling strongly preferred; experience building workflows/workstreams and operating as an admin, or similar deep HRIS experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Recruiting coordination: Inbound resume review, ATS administration (or ATS RFP process if they've onboarded one), scheduling, and candidate experience.
- Ability to use data in decision-making.
- Ability to move fluidly between coaching and traditional HR (conflict resolution, mediation, employee support).
- Comfort with technology, data management, and process improvement.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for helping people succeed.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—you love structure and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

This is a direct-hire, full-time employee position with excellent benefits! The Human Resources Coordinator/Office Manager will work on-site 3 days a week. Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
