Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking lots, and grounds.
- Monitor access to facilities and ensure doors, windows, and alarms are secured.
- Respond to calls for service, including disturbances, medical emergencies, safety hazards, and
- Enforce college policies, parking regulations, and student conduct rules in a fair and respectful
- Provide customer service such as giving directions, escorting individuals, and supporting campus
- Prepares incident reports. Monitor CCTV and card access systems; investigate door-propped or
- Observe and report suspicious behavior or conditions to prevent theft, vandalism, or safety risks.
- Operate security systems, radios, surveillance equipment, and access-control systems.
- Participate in safety training, drills, and professional development sessions.
- Assists Life Safety Manager and Security Supervisor in coordinating safety programs and ensuring campus safety programs across departments

- High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
- At least one year of security guard experience is required.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is required.
- Experience in community policing or customer-service-oriented security roles.
