What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Product Manager position at Lumicity?
Senior Product Manager, AI Workflow Automation for Healthcare
📍 New York City or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
About the Company
They're a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building AI-powered workflow automation for health systems. Backed by top-tier venture capital and have been recognized as one of the most promising AI companies building in healthcare today.
What You'll Do
- Own product strategy and execution for a core workflow area, from discovery through launch and iteration
- Work directly with hospital/health system and others to deeply understand operational pain points
- Partner closely with engineering and design leadership in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment
- Represent product in enterprise customer conversations; you'll need to hold your own in a room with senior healthcare operators
- Bring an informed, opinionated point of view on how AI (LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows) can be applied to real operational problems, not just prompting, but genuine architectural thinking
- Help build and refine how the company evaluates and scales product processes as the team grows
What We're Looking For
- 5 years in a dedicated Product Management role (not adjacent functions like BA, PO-lite, or program management)
- At least 2 years at a venture-backed startup with demonstrable B2B or B2B2C outcomes; you've shipped in a real hyper-growth environment and can speak to specifics, not just "we grew fast"
- Built B2B SaaS products from 0-1
- Sharp, confident communicator, comfortable in live, no-notes conversations with senior stakeholders and enterprise customers; able to think on your feet and defend a position
- Genuine, self-directed curiosity about AI; you've gone deeper than prompting and think about how these systems are actually architected
- Track record of tenure stability; we're looking for builders who stick around through the hard parts, not people chasing the next hot thing every 9 months
- Healthcare, health-tech, or other highly regulated B2B enterprise experience is a strong plus but not required
Why This Role
- Real equity in a company still early enough that it matters, at a stage where the next 18 months will define the trajectory
- Direct access to founders/executive leadership, with no layers between you and the decision-makers
- A product that genuinely matters: the workflows you'll own solve expensive, painful problems for essential healthcare institutions
