Senior Accountant | Renewable Energy | Central Oregon | $100K–$125K
A fast-growing company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to help accelerate the month-end close process, improve reporting, and drive accounting process improvements.
This is a highly visible role reporting to the Controller and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with strong growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Manage general ledger and intercompany accounting
- Analyze financial results and investigate unusual variances
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and job costing
- Assist with audits and strengthen internal controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff and help improve systems and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5 years of accounting experience in construction, manufacturing, or field services
- Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems; CPA/CMA is a plus
