We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at our Springfield, Oregon headquarters. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at our Springfield, Oregon headquarters. What You’ll Do
- Perform general accounting functions, including journal entries and account analysis
- Complete general ledger and bank account reconciliations
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages
- Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and reporting support
- Develop and maintain accounting reports and supporting documentation
- Assist with process development, workflow improvements, and internal documentation
- Support accounting technology initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Cross-train to provide backup support across multiple accounting functions
- Collaborate with internal departments to support operational and financial initiatives
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, audits, and reporting requests
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred OR Associate degree with relevant accounting experience and demonstrated competence in application of accounting principles
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal controls
- Manufacturing, cost accounting, inventory accounting, public accounting, or product-based industry experience preferred, but not required
- Experience working within an ERP/MRP system
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
