Responsibilities
- Assist with oversight of general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures.
- Assist with managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies for prompt resolution.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements by preparing detailed reports and ensuring adherence to governmental standards.
- Assist CFO as needed with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Utilize PDI Enterprise, an ERP software, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Contribute to audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations for auditors’ review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles with a focus on financial management and reporting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial concepts.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
