Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist (Paralegal) to support Benefit Contract Management (BCM) and ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across contract processes. This role collaborates with Legal, Government Affairs, Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to drive contract integrity and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise group/individual insurance contracts, templates, and certificates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; manage filings via SERFF.
- Analyze contract changes and recommend filing strategies.
- Review marketing and product materials for contract accuracy.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries, audits, and escalations.
- Interpret contract terms and resolve complex benefit-related issues.
- Support RFPs/RFIs and develop customized contract language.
- Track mandates, filings, and implementation processes.
- Contribute to process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in contract management or health insurance domain.
- Strong knowledge of health insurance products and regulations.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
