What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Learning Engineer position at Lumen Resources?
We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who thrives in fast-moving, high-impact environments and can deploy ML models in production environments. (3 days onsite)
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions that support data-driven products and intelligent applications.
- Build scalable pipelines to collect, process, and prepare large datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Develop and optimize machine learning models for tasks such as classification, prediction, recommendation, or natural language processing.
- Integrate models into production systems through APIs, microservices, or cloud-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data teams, and product stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
- Monitor model performance in production environments and implement improvements to ensure reliability, accuracy, and scalability.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience designing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with common machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Experience building data pipelines and working with large datasets using modern data processing tools.
- Understanding of model evaluation techniques, feature engineering, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating machine learning systems into applications using APIs or cloud-based services.
- Familiarity with containerization, version control, and modern development workflows.
