Automotive Service Greeter
Lum's GMC is seeking a positive, professional Automotive Service Greeter to join our team. A service drive greeter is typically the first point of contact for customers when they arrive at our dealership’s service department. Their main job is to welcome customers, create a positive first impression, and help ensure the service lane runs smoothly.

Automotive Service Greeter Responsibilities:
- Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
- Upholds dealership standards for customer service, safety, and professionalism at all times.
- Verify service appointments, collect vehicle information (e.g., license plate, VIN, mileage), and document the reason for service. Perform a visual inspection of the vehicle, noting any existing damage or concerns.
- Assist customers in navigating the service process, answering basic questions, and directing them to the appropriate service personnel.
- Maintains clean and safe lobby and service drive areas, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow etc.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to support workflow and customer updates.
- Controls service traffic flow and parking.
- Assists lot attendant with duties at the service counter.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, day shift
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour starting, depending on experience

Qualifications:
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, with an ability to learn quickly.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software and the internet.
- Professional and personable demeanor.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
