In this role, you will be responsible for supporting food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food running and serving, and ensuring a safe and organized kitchen. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including reheating food, taking order and serving food for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, equipment, and dining areas regularly
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Provide efficient food running and serving services to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Operate POS systems such as Square accurately for order processing and payments
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures, storage protocols, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety procedures is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently during shifts
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Experience with POS systems like Square is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to hospitality and guest service excellence
- Reliable attendance with a proactive approach to teamwork in a fast-paced setting
