Duties

• Supervise daily dispensary operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and adherence to company policies
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
• Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, purchasing, and inventory control to optimize product availability
• Manage cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and store bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and accountability
• Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations related to cannabis sales, security protocols, and recordkeeping
• Conduct employee interviews, onboarding sessions, and ongoing training to build a knowledgeable and compliant team
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent communication skills and phone etiquette to enhance customer satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a retail or hospitality environment
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management, training & development, and conflict resolution
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, bookkeeping, and scheduling
• Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and manage purchasing processes effectively
• Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Exceptional communication skills for staff supervision, customer interactions, and administrative tasks
• Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations, security procedures, and store operations is preferred but not mandatory
