Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and recommend suitable products based on preferences and experience levels
• Educate customers through product demos, explaining effects, dosages, and consumption methods to enhance their understanding
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products by highlighting new or popular items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
• Conduct stock checks, assist with inventory management, and restock shelves as needed to keep the store organized and inviting
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers, ensuring clear communication at all times

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment involving customer interaction
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration abilities
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and active listening
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers accurately
• Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with merchandising standards
• Ability to perform basic tasks such as stocking shelves, conducting product demos, and managing inventory efficiently
• Must be 21 years or older (or as per local regulations) and comply with all state licensing requirements for cannabis sales
