Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to understand their needs and preferences
• Provide detailed product demos and educate guests on various strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits that match customer interests to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to keep the sales floor well-supplied
• Follow all phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment involving customer interaction
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership and team coordination skills
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse clientele
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions and inventory counts
• Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and retail math accurately while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach to upselling
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through product demos and ongoing training
