The Tax Associate will assist in the preparation of federal and state(s) business, individual, and other related tax forms. There will be opportunities for tax planning and research projects throughout the year. This is an On-Site position at our office in Mequon, WI.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare business and individual tax returns.
- Work with senior associates and managers on maintaining client relationships and meeting various filing deadlines throughout the year.
- Improve your understanding and knowledge of tax law by reading professional literature or attending tax seminars and training courses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- General proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to learn from previous experiences and apply knowledge to future assignments.
- Quality communication between other staff and clients
- Attention to detail and organized.
- Be a team player.
Education and Experience
- CPA candidate or licensed or Enrolled Agent preferred
