Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Director of Finance at Lucia Mar Unified School District, located in Arroyo Grande, CA. The Executive Director will oversee and lead the district's strategic initiatives, manage the administration of district-wide programs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing policies, managing budgets, supervising staff, fostering community partnerships, and facilitating continuous improvement in educational standards. The Executive Director will play a critical role in driving the mission and vision of the district forward to support student success and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Extensive leadership and management experience in educational administration, strategic planning, and organizational development
- Proven ability in budget management, financial analysis, and resource allocation in K-12 Education
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
- Knowledge of state and federal education laws, policies, and compliance requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in leveraging technology to enhance organizational efficiency
- Master's degree in Accounting, School Business, Public Administration, or related field (Preferred)
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent certification required
