What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering position at LTM?
Role description
· Define and take ownership of the overall test strategy, including test planning and execution methodology for Life and Health insurance applications.
· Lead and manage both onshore and offshore QA teams to ensure delivery commitments are met regarding quality, schedule, and cost.
· Oversee diverse testing activities such as functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing for Life and Health Insurance systems, encompassing:
· Policy Administration
· Claims Processing
· Billing and Payments
· Underwriting and Enrollment workflows
· Ensure comprehensive test coverage for regulatory compliance and business-critical scenarios unique to Life and Health insurance.
· Review and approve key test artifacts, including test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases, and summary reports.
· Drive defect management, triage, root cause analysis, and mitigation of quality risks.
· Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to align testing efforts.
· Ensure strict adherence to organizational QA processes, metrics, and reporting standards.
· Provide regular updates on test status, quality metrics, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.
· Support the adoption and governance of test automation, optimizing ROI from automation initiatives.
· Mentor and coach test leads and team members, cultivating continuous improvement and advancing QA maturity.
