Informatica Admin DR Specialist

The Informatica Administrator DR Specialist is responsible for the endtoend administration maintenance performance and disaster recovery readiness of all Informatica platforms including PowerCenter BDMIDQ Admin Console Repository Services Integration Services and all connected integrations The role ensures stable daily operations manages environment upgradespatches and executes DR drills to meet business continuity BCP and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities

Manage and administer Informatica Domains Nodes Application Services and Repositories

Perform platform monitoring service restarts performance tuning and log analysis

Configure and maintain connections DB ODBCJDBC FTP API etc

Apply patches hotfixes SSL certificate updates and version upgrades

Troubleshoot issues related to workflows mappings integration services and connectivity

Manage user access roles permissions LDAP integration and security controls

Coordinate with Infra DBA Network and Application teams

Maintain environment documentation and configuration baselines

Prepare and execute DR drills including failover and failback

Validate DR environment readiness domain status services repository connectivity

Ensure ProductiontoDR alignment of patches configurations certificates and integrations

Test workflows mappings and scheduler integrations during DR

Provide DR drill reports logs and compliance documentation

Maintain DR runbooks and recovery procedures

Required Skills Experience

10 years of Informatica Administration experience PowerCenterBDMIDQ

Strong understanding of Informatica Domain architecture

Experience in DR planning execution and troubleshooting

Strong LinuxUnix and scripting knowledge

Knowledge of AWS integrations preferred

Experience with job schedulers Stonebranch ControlM Autosys

Strong communication and documentation skills

NicetoHave Skills

Experience in migration projects Onprem Cloud Datacenter

Knowledge of Tomcat upgrades JVM tuning

Understanding of networking DNS firewall load balancer

Knowledge of Data MaskingData Governance tools

Responsibilities During DR Drill

PreDR checklist validation

Bring up Informatica Domain services in DR

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field

10 years of experience on Informatica Domain

Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
