Job Role : Platform Support Technician System Board Support Technician
Location : Folsom CA
Shift Timings
Regular Day Shift
Mon - Fri
Job Skills
Familiarity with Computer Client server hardware architecture.
Ability to assemble computer systems using various hardware components.
Ability to debug issues in computer system bringup.
Ability to flash BIOS install Operating Systems WindowsLinux install Firmware and Drivers disk partitioning configuring networks and debug associated issues.
Ability to socket CPUs.
Ability to organize lab space and infrastructure for a given project network and power cabling test benchrack setup etc.
Knowledge on test and measurement equipment DMM Oscilloscopes Logic analyzers Network analyzers Power meters associated probescables etc.
Working knowledge of BIOS various Firmware and Drivers and their interaction with Operating System etc.
Ability to do configuration changes at BIOS Firmware level.
Knowledge on scripting Python Shell etc.
Ability to make changes to test automation scripts.
Ability to setup test and measurement equipment for a given test.
Triage test data and debug test setupconfiguration related issues.
Other Expectations
Attention to detail and well organized.
Ability to follow given instructions clearly.
Able to lift 35 Lbs job may require shifting computers from one rack to another etc.
Candidate should have reliable transportation and are OK with daily commute as it is 100 onsite work.
Candidate must have good attitude communication skills.
Willingness to learn.
