Role description
Job Title: Specialist - Package Implementation
Requires Experience:
- 8 to 10 years of overall IT experience with strong domain exposure to Accident Health (AH) Health Insurance
Role Summary:
- The Business Analyst will work closely with Accidental Health business stakeholders underwriting claims and operations teams to analyze business requirements translate them into functional specifications and support implementation within Policy Administration Systems PAS or digital insurance platforms
- The role demands strong domain knowledge in Accident Health insurance products policy lifecycle and regulatory considerations along with hands on BA delivery skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business user’s product owners and SMEs to gather and analyze requirements across Accident Health insurance
- Understand and document AH insurance products including:
- Individual Group Accident
- Health riders and supplemental benefits
- Disability Critical Illness Hospital Indemnity
- Translate business requirements into:
- Functional Requirement Documents FRD
- User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Process flows gap analysis and solution design
- Support policy lifecycle processes
- New Business
- Endorsements
- Renewals
- Claims medical accident claims benefit payouts
- Work with PAS platforms to support configuration and integration requirements policy rating benefits rules
- Coordinate with development QA and integration teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented
- Participate in Sprint ceremonies backlog grooming and UAT support in Agile Scrum delivery
- Validate solutions during system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure alignment with business expectations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and product rules applicable to AH insurance
Must Have Skills:
- Strong domain expertise in Accident Health Insurance
- Hands on experience working as a Business Analyst in insurance projects
- Solid understanding of Policy Administration Systems PAS and insurance workflows
- Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
- Ability to write clear user stories functional specs and acceptance criteria
- Strong analytical problem solving and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good to have skills:
- Working knowledge on PAS systems like Instanda or Protosure
- Exposure to integration with claims billing and external vendor systems
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in insurance
- Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization initiatives

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
