Job Role: Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter Implementation Architect
Job Purpose
- We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter Implementation Architect to lead architecture design and delivery of PolicyCenter cloud implementations
- This role is responsible for defining a scalable cloud architecture guiding development teams and integrating PolicyCenter with internal and external systems using Integration Gateway and the clients ESB layer
- The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise in Guidewire Insurance Suite cloud migration client engagement scalable solution design and end to end PolicyCenter transformations
- Architecture Solution Design:
- Architect end to end Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter implementations ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and Guidewire Cloud best practices
- Design scalable secure and high-performance cloud architectures for PolicyCenter
- Develop solution design documents including system architecture models integration patterns application roadmaps and technical standards and data migration
- Apply Guidewire Cloud Standards design patterns and best practices across all solution components
- Integration Cloud Migration:
- Design integrations using Integration Gateway IG Apps and client ESB middleware platforms
- Lead migration of PolicyCenter workloads to Guidewire Cloud ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with SurePath methodology
- Oversee data integration conversion and API design for enterprise level applications
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide hands on technical leadership to development configuration and integration teams
- Perform architecture reviews troubleshoot issues and guide teams through cloud deployment cycles
- Coordinate with Guidewire teams for design decisions and troubleshooting
- Partner with client stakeholders’ business teams and Guidewire experts to define and validate solution approaches
- Governance Standards
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire Cloud operational frameworks development practices and release processes
- Track emerging technologies and Guidewire Cloud capabilities to advise on architectural improvements
- Maintain architectural documentation standards and reusable frameworks
- Guidewire Cloud Expertise
- 10 years in Guidewire including configuration integration and architecture roles
- At least one end to end Guidewire Cloud implementation PolicyCenter preferred
- Deep proficiency in PolicyCenter functionality product model rules workflows and integrations
- Strong understanding of Guidewire Insurance Suite including BillingCenter and ClaimCenter
- Experience with Guidewire SurePath and agile project delivery models
- Integration Technical Skills
- Hands on experience integrating Guidewire applications with enterprise systems using:
- A) Advance product designer APD
- B) Integration Gateway IG Apps
- C) Client ESB messaging layers
- D) RESTSOAP services
- Strong technical background
- Java J2EE XML
- AWS cloud fundamentals
- Enterprise Messaging Systems
- Strong understanding of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain including policy lifecycle rating underwriting and product modeling
- Experience designing solutions for Tier 1Tier 2 insurers preferred
- Understanding of API integrations data mapping and workflow automation
- Experience with Agile methodologies JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong client facing abilities with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Ability to guide teams enforce standards and proactively resolve architectural issues
- Guidewire Cloud Certified ACE PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter
- AINS or any P&C Insurance certification
- Agile SCRUM certification
