Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lincolnwood, IL, for a Purchaser at LTC Interiors. The Purchaser will oversee the procurement of furniture, equipment, and materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities include evaluating supplier offers, negotiating contracts, placing and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery. Additionally, the Purchaser will work closely with design teams to meet project specifications and maintain an organized inventory and purchasing records.
Qualifications
- Strong Procurement and Negotiation skills, with experience in vendor and contract management
- Knowledge of Material Sourcing and Project Management to meet client-specific design needs
- Attention to Detail, Organizational, and Inventory Management skills
- Proficiency with Purchasing Software and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective Communication and Collaboration skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams
- Understanding of industry trends in furniture, fixtures, and equipment for healthcare and commercial projects
- Prior experience in a design purchasing role or related field is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
