We are hiring a hands-on, high-caliber Controller to build financial rigor, scale accounting operations, and partner with leadership during our next phase of growth. This role is ideal for a CPA who thrives in a growth environment, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and can balance precision with speed. You will own the day-to-day accounting function while modernizing systems, processes, and controls to support a scaled SaaS organization. What You’ll Do Own the full accounting lifecycle, including general ledger, close, financial statements, and internal controlsLead and execute the Order-to-Cash process: contracts, billing, collections, deferred revenue, and revenue recognitionServe as the subject-matter expert for SaaS accounting, including ARR/MRR, deferred revenue, and subscription billingManage and lead a lean team of accountants and bookkeepers with a player-coach mindsetDrive system modernization, including expert use of QuickBooks Online and leading the future implementation of NetSuiteLeverage automation and AI tools to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and increase close efficiencyPartner with Rev Ops, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure financial data integrity and operational alignmentLead audits, tax filings, and coordination with external accountants and advisorsBuild scalable processes, documentation, and controls to support fast growth. What Success Looks Like Accurate, timely monthly closes and financial reportingClean, scalable revenue recognition and billing processesImproved relationship with customers’ AP team, reduced order outstanding days and manage collections Successfully implemented automation to manage thousands of invoices for low touch solutions.
