Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Certified Nurses Aide to join our team at Loyalhanna Care Center in Latrobe, PA. As an Overnight Certified Nurses Aide, you will provide high-quality resident-centered nursing care and services to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist each assigned resident with individualized nursing care and services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and services, as directed by the resident's care plan and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Record all charting into Point Click Care accurately and in a timely manner
• Report changes/incidents in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Licensed Practical Nurse immediately
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information and report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information
• Ensure resident safety and well-being by reporting any potential or actual safety hazards to Maintenance and Supervisor
• Participate in scheduled mandatory in-services and education to maintain current knowledge and skills
• Demonstrate knowledge of normal and abnormal aging sensory changes and relationship to resident safety
• Provide basic communication skills to speak and communicate respectfully
• Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as instructed by supervisors
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must possess a GED or High school Diploma
• Must be licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Must meet all local health regulations and criminal background checks, post-offer drug test, and post-offer physical exam, if required
• Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements
• Must be able to obtain and record vital signs manually and electronically
