Lowell Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic, full-time Math Teacher (Grades 9–12) for potential subject areas including Geometry, Algebra, and Pre-Calculus.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging unit plans and instructional strategies that meet the needs of diverse learners in high school math courses.
Establish and uphold positive classroom routines and culture to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Assess student understanding and progress, and maintain accurate academic records.
Use data-driven supports in the classroom to ensure curriculum alignment, appropriate pacing, and targeted interventions that meet student needs.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Collaborate with the Math Department to align instruction with curriculum standards and school goals.
Integrate technology and hands-on learning to enhance mathematical thinking and student engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Massachusetts teaching certification in Mathematics (Grades 8–12 or 5–12).
Strong understanding of mathematical pedagogy, instructional best practices, and differentiation.
