What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Teacher position at Lincoln Sudbury Regional School District?
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a qualified Math Teacher for a full-time position commencing at the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Teach the depth and breadth of our college-preparatory mathematics program, including all aspects of planning, collaboration, instruction and assessment.
- Serve as an advisory teacher
- Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community
- Plan lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students
- Create a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior
- Provide timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed
- Communicate with parents to discuss student progress
- Pursue professional growth through activities in and out of school
- Cooperate with other professional staff in supporting student learning
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university
- Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Mathematics 8-12 by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
Experience Preferred:
- 3 years in an educational teaching environment
- High School teaching experience
