Job summary:
Seeking server to work at our elegant 21 Main Restaurant. Our restaurant servers provide friendly and attentive service to our guests. Our servers help provide a positive guest experience, while serving guests fine food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. Servers are expected to wear a smile and be attentive to our guest needs to make them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Be reliable, punctual and adhere to assigned weekly work schedule
- Arrive dressed in your required uniform ready to work your shift
- Be a good team player, good communicator and be ready to assist fellow staff members
- Adhere and follow our high safety and sanitary standards at all times
- Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting
- Be well aware of menu items offered and be able to explain them in detail to guests
- Be diligent in fulfilling guest orders and promptly deliver food plates and beverages
- Deliver and refill alcoholic/nonalcoholic drinks to guest table
- Promptly remove dinner courses, replenishing utensils and refilling water glasses
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Consistently adhere to company grooming and appearance standards
- Reset tables per company standards for the next sitting
Skills & Abilities required:
- Have an outgoing and friendly personality
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to perform tasks and follow instructions from supervisor
- Able to multitask, especially during high demand times
- Able to work long hours and handle difficult and stressful situations
- Must be 18 years or older to meet restrictions of The SLA Liquor Laws

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous serving experience preferred
