Toddler Assistant Part Time 3:30 - 5:30

Job Summary LOVE and LEARN

The teaching assistant will help develop and maintain positive relationships with toddlers and families, while creating a safe, and welcoming environment within their classroom.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment.

· Assist with afternoon activities, centers, outdoor play, and transitions.

· Ensure children are signed out safely to authorized adults.

· Complete end-of-day classroom cleaning and sanitizing tasks.

· Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations.

· Communicate professionally with families during pick-up.

· Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure a smooth closing routine.

· Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations.

Requirements

• Background check/fingerprinting (Prior to official employment offer-will be completed by Love N’ Learn)
• CMG Safe Environment Training (Prior to official employment offer-Love N’ Learn leadership will provide needed instructions)

Preferred Qualifications

• College hours in Early Childhood Education, or related field
• Work experience in childcare, PreK, or related field
• Knowledge of child development and behavior management strategies
