The Audit Services Division of the Louisiana State Employees’ Retirement System (LASERS) is hiring an Internal Auditor in Baton Rouge.
This position may be filled at the Auditor 1, 2, or 3 level, depending on qualifications.
What You’ll Do
- Perform risk assessments and internal audits
- Plan, lead and execute audit engagements
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls
- Use data analytics to test data, identify exceptions and spot trends
- Prepare work papers and audit reports
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines and resources
We’re seeking someone who is:

- An effective written and verbal communicator

Salary: $44,990–$96,533 annually, depending on level and qualifications
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, with a start time between 7:00–8:00 a.m.
Career Progression: Auditor 1, Auditor 2 or Auditor 3
