LASACT is an organization dedicated to helping addiction professionals in Louisiana develop their skills in their careers. Our Mission is to promote and enhance addiction professionals & providers in areas of treatment, education, prevention, and advocacy. Key details about LASACT include:

Education Provider: LASACT is an Approved Educational Provider (AEP) for the Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority (ADRA).
Certification: As a member of the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC), it helps set standards for addiction professionals.
Events: Hosts an annual conference with multi-track continuing education.

Responsibilities
• Scanning, documenting, and organizing files
• Answering inbound phone calls
• Making outbound phone calls
• Proctoring exams
• Operating printer, fax machine, and scanner
• General office and clerical support
• Email management
• Grant coordination
• Electronic configuration
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled university student in good academic standing
• Proficiency or working knowledge of Office Suites (Excel/Access ★ Great plus)
• Comfortable operating standard office equipment (printer, fax, scanner)
• Strong interpersonal skills — personable and easy to work with
• Patient, reliable, organized, and professional
• Reliable transportation
• Background or coursework in addiction/recovery or behavioral health ★ Great plus
