Busser/Food Runner

Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area
• Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Support food preparation and plating when needed, ensuring dishes are presented beautifully and safely
• Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while adhering to food safety standards
• Communicate with front-of-house team to coordinate timely service
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper sanitation practices
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality enhances your candidacy
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to engage with guests and team members effectively
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
• Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory
