Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpet cleaning using commercial cleaning equipment and company methods.
- Strip, wax, buff, and maintain various floor surfaces.
- Complete specialty cleaning projects or janitorial cleaning as assigned.
- Operate and maintain floor machines, carpet extractors, and other specialty equipment.
- Assist with cleaning projects.
- Remove debris, trash, and other materials from project sites.
- Load, transport, and unload cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment and handling chemicals.
- Maintain inventory and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project status.
- Travel to various customer locations as needed.
- Perform or assist with other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must pass a background check.
- Previous experience with carpet cleaning, floor care, or specialty cleaning services preferred.
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules, work locations, and project requirements.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying hours as needed.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism are required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to move and operate heavy floor care and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including theaters, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, industrial buildings, and commercial properties.
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
