We're seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to contribute to our cohesive teaching team, coordinate the curriculum, and manage day-to-day operational activities in the classroom. A successful candidate will understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
This position reports to the Program Director and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives.
What You'll Do
- Foster Curiosity: Develop a play-based curriculum that sparks children's imaginations and ignites their love for learning.
- Nurture Growth: Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities and experiences.
- Build Strong Relationships: Connect with children and families to create a sense of community and belonging.
- Maintain Open Communication: Regularly communicate with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Lead the Team: Supervise and mentor your team to ensure exceptional care and quality.
- Stay Ahead: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest early childhood education trends and best practices.
- Ensure a Safe Environment: Monitor indoor and outdoor learning spaces for safety and cleanliness.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of classroom-based child care experience as a Lead Teacher, with a passion for early childhood education.
- High School Diploma (required); Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is highly preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification to ensure a safe environment for all children.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds to support children's needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and parents.
- Must clear full background check and pass health screening to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.
- A passion for early childhood education that drives your daily work.

- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as basic computer skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and parents.

- Experience with potty training is a plus, but not required.
