The Outreach Specialist position represents the organization in markets in Florida, including hospitals, crisis units, physicians, mental health professionals, and other agencies. The position assists in the organization and implementation of the marketing plan. Performs marketing functions as assigned by the Executive Director.

Essential Job Duties::

• Identifies the most viable, potential referral sources/payers within the target markets and determines how to access those sources.
• Consistently gain customers through established selling processes.
• Provides individualized follow-up services to all customers.
• Maintains thorough understanding of the substance use treatment market across the state. Report changes in the market to the executive team.
• Develops a contact list of step-down/alternative placement programs and community resources to assist Admissions.
• Develop a plan to maintain team goals of at least 100 face to face contact per month and at least 50 unique, virtual connections per month with follow-up to each.

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person

• Demonstrates respect for consumer confidentiality practices
• Must possess the ability to learn and/or operate relevant computer operating systems and embrace electronic health records and take ownership of the CRM for data collection

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related business field or equivalent work experience in related field.
• Experience: Minimum two (2)-years in Marketing/Sales, preferably in the Counseling/Psychiatric and/or Substance Use field.
• License/Certification: N/A
• Physical Requirements: Irregular and long hours may be required occasionally. Current Driver’s License and car insurance. Some over-night travel is required. Lifting and loading twenty (20) pound boxes containing brochures and/or literature, tables, display boards, etc.
• Other: Performs other duties as may be assigned by Executive Director.
• Travel: Some travel required. Will represent the state of Florida in the metropolitan areas.
