Summary of Job:
The Nutritionist will be responsible for ensuring the food is presentable, not expired and well stocked.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving, logging, and maintaining food delivered from catering company.
- Making sure all food and presentation up to standards.
- Interacting with clients to assure an enjoyable meal experience.
- Ensure use of proper techniques for maintenance of cleanliness and handling of food and kitchen.
- Complete ownership of preparation and serving of menu items.
- Complete daily cleaning of workspace.
- Keep accurate inventory and advise on items needing to be ordered.
- Complete other duties as assigned outside of mealtimes.
- Understands the importance of food in one’s well-being.
- Strong work ethic and team player.
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Preferred food service experience.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Customer-focused.
- Enjoys working with people and being around adolescents.
- Used to repetitive routine work.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
