Job Summary:

The Bilingual Outreach Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing outreach initiatives to support the IPromise Program at Lotus BHRS Inc. This position will develop, coordinate, and manage efforts to engage, recruit, and provide culturally and linguistically competent services to diverse communities, particularly Spanish-speaking families and individuals.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for community advocacy, and the ability to build partnerships with schools, organizations, and community leaders to increase program visibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement and Outreach

  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage underserved and disadvantaged communities, particularly Latino and Spanish-speaking populations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and local leaders to promote the IPromise Program.
  • Represent Lotus BHRS Inc. at community events, resource fairs, and meetings.
  • Plan and facilitate recruitment events to increase enrollment in the IPromise Program.

Program Management

  • Coordinate and oversee program activities to ensure alignment with the mission and goals of Lotus BHRS Inc.
  • Develop culturally appropriate materials and communications to support outreach efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, providing regular reports to the Program Director.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support outreach team members, including Community Specialists and volunteers.
  • Conduct regular training to ensure staff are equipped with cultural and linguistic competency skills.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment and administrative teams to streamline the intake process.

Participant Support

  • Provide guidance and support to families navigating the enrollment process.
  • Advocate for families to address barriers to accessing services.
  • Act as a resource for Spanish-speaking families, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in community outreach, program management, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with diverse communities and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of local resources and services available to disadvantaged communities.
  • Experience working with Latino or Spanish-speaking populations.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health services and practices.
  • Public speaking and facilitation skills.

Work Environment:

This role involves working in both office and community settings, with frequent travel to schools, community centers, and other outreach locations.
