Automation Technician

The purpose of the AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN to perform a variety of construction, troubleshooting, and design tasks and responsibilities within the Automation Department; onsite or offsite. Use automation/electrical skills and resources to accomplish company and customer goals and directives.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics for proper functionality of designed equipment
- Build, wire, and test control panels
- Install, wire, and test various components, enclosures, and devices on equipment
- Travel to customer facilities to Install, startup, and maintain new and existing equipment
Requirements:
- Design of electrical equipment/components/schematic and automated systems
- Proper construction of PLC, HMI, VFD, Pneumatic, and/or automated systems and 3rd party components
- Capable of starting and completing an entire project from beginning to end
- Capable of working effectively in a group and independently
- Proper communication with customers, vendors, contractors, and coworkers
- PLC/HMI programming/troubleshooting experience in is a plus
- 10%-25% Travel required
- Candidate must be dependable, able to work independently, and follow company standards and procedures

Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
