Summary
Our client is seeking an Accountant to support financial operations across multiple entities and commercial properties. This full-time onsite role in Augusta, GA will focus on property accounting, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. The position works closely with leadership in a hands-on real estate environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain operating and property-level bank accounts and perform reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly financial and property management reports
- Process vendor invoices and track property expenses
- Support accounting operations for multiple commercial properties
- Record payroll journal entries and maintain payroll documentation
- Maintain lease and financial records in the property management system
- Track leasing commissions, management fees, and promissory notes
- Assist with annual loan compliance reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2 years of accounting experience
- QuickBooks experience required
- Yardi experience strongly preferred
- Strong Excel and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
