The Role
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Copywriter to join our marketing team in our NYC office. This position is ideal for a wordsmith with a passion for crafting innovative, breakthrough ideas that drive engagement and get people talking.This role will begin as a 3-month contract-to-hire position. During this initial period, you will work closely with the team to achieve specific project goals. Creative and culture fit will lead to a permanent, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit on-brand copy for a variety of marketing materials including decks, scripts, emails, and social content
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content ideas and creative concepts for marketing campaigns and social media stunts
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure copy is cohesive and aligns with overall campaign goals
- Conduct research on industry trends, target audience preferences, and competitor activity to inform content creation and identify new opportunities
- Proofread and edit all content to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to brand voice guidelines
- Monitor social media insights to understand audience reactions and adjust copy strategies accordingly
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in copywriting across channels, preferably with multiple brands
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to generate new ideas and translate complex concepts into simple, persuasive copy
- Experience in adapting writing style and tone to fit different platforms and audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices for engagement.
Compensation & Perks
- $80,000 - $120,000
