Plant Production Supervisor (Industrial Laundry/Textiles)

Loop Linen Service, Inc. is currently seeking an individual to become part of our company’s Production Supervisory Team The ideal candidate should have the experience in managing a department with an employee population up to 40 people in a production manufacturing environment.

SCOPE:

Responsible for providing quantities of material of proper quality and at the proper time to meet demands of the finishing departments, namely flatwork, uniform, mats, and dry fold.

Reports to: Plant Manager

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a safe work practices for all employees in department and report all unsafe working conditions and/or equipment immediately to Safety Committee, Chief Engineer, and/or Plant Manager
• Establishes daily schedules to ensure proper flow of materials in all finishing departments.
• Ensures that proper production records are maintained.
• Coordinates production of his department with the demands of flatwork, mats, uniforms and dry fold departments.
• Ensures that all personnel under his authority are properly trained to perform their duties in the best possible manner.
• Maintains good housekeeping throughout his department. Also follows company safety program and other prudent safety precautions.
• Make daily spot checks to test quality of a finished product
• Responsible for discipline and morale in his department.
• SKILLS:
• prior manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Preferred production plant Supervisory experience preferably in a commercial laundry facility
• Computer intermediate or above preferred
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish

Flexibility needed shifts could be form 8-10 hours per day depending on Company needs
