Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure proper operation of engines, tools and equipment by checking for worn parts and completing preventive maintenance according to manufacturers' maintenance manuals. Develop schedule of preventive maintenance.
- Locate sources of problems by observing, listening to and checking mechanical devices in operation.
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, examining and diagnosing cause of failure and correcting the condition.
- Maintain logs and work sheets of inspections and maintenance performed on all equipment.
- Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventory and conserves resources by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate equipment, parts and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- May operate a variety of light equipment and power tools while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies with this equipment.
- Willingness to cross train for big equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Loon Mountain Resort guests at all times.
- Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
- Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
- Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.
- Drive in accordance with the law and Loon Mountain Resort policies.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
