Position Summary:
Camp Tahuaya – a Family Adventure Campground is currently seeking candidates for the role of Guest Services Team Member.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Reservations and Guest Services team at Camp Tahuaya. As a Guest Services Team Member, you will role manage the camp store, handling reservations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all campers. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and has retail experience.

Pay: $13.00 per hour / Part-Time, up to 28 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Guest Relations:
- Greet campers and visitors warmly and assist them with their needs.
- Provide information about the campground, amenities, activities, and local attractions.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
Reservations & Check-ins:
- Process reservations via phone, email, and online booking system.
- Handle camper check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments.
- Assign campsites and ensure proper documentation for each guest.
Camp Store Operations:
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Stock and organize inventory, ensuring shelves are well-maintained.
- Track sales and maintain inventory levels by placing orders when needed.
- Keep the store clean, welcoming, and stocked with essential camping supplies, snacks, and souvenirs.
General Campground Duties:
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in communal areas, including store and multi-purpose building
- Work with other staff members to support camp events and activities.
- Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a smooth campground experience.
- Assist in emergency situations, providing guidance and help to campers as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in retail service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Demonstrate sound professional ethics and good judgment.
- Flexible and committed to personal and professional development.
- Good judgment in anticipating and preventing accidents.
- Be able to act calmly, quickly, and give and/or follow directions during an emergency.
Essential Requirements:
- Become a registered member of Scouting America, which includes a Criminal Background check and required training.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Work Conditions/Physical Demands: Activities occur both inside and outside. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently
