Position Summary:
Camp Tahuaya – a Family Adventure Campground is currently seeking candidates for the role of Kitchen/Lakeside Bistro Team Member.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Kitchen team at Camp Tahuaya. As a Kitchen/Lakeside Bistro Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional food service to our guests, enhancing their camping experience with delicious meals and friendly service.

This is a weekend position that includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Schedule will vary based on events offered each weekend. There may be some weekday hours available based on needs.
Pay: $13.00 per hour / Part-Time, up to 28 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and enjoyable dining atmosphere.
- Address guest inquiries and accommodate special dietary needs or requests.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Demonstrate sound professional ethics and good judgment.
- Flexible and committed to personal and professional development.
- Good judgment in anticipating and preventing accidents.
- Be able to act calmly, quickly, and give and/or follow directions during an emergency.
Essential Requirements:
- Become a registered member of Scouting America, which includes a Criminal Background check and required training.
- Hold the minimum certification requirements of ServSafe (provided Training)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Work Conditions/Physical Demands: Activities occur both inside and outside. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently
