Requirements
As a Staff Accountant at Longevity Health Plan, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our financial operations across multiple entities—including health plans and MSOs. You’ll work closely with outsourced accounting partners and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly accounting close and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and regulatory guidelines for Longevity Health Plans
- prepare and organize workpapers from outsourced accounting partners; maintain shared drive documentation
- Prepare internal financial review packages and variance analyses
- Reconcile accounts and ensure integrity of general ledger entries
- Collaborate with other Accounting team members and cross-functional teams including Finance, Market Leaders, and Department Heads
- Support AP process by reviewing invoice posting, approval and payment
- Contribute to audit preparation and regulatory compliance efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, managed care, or public accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in financial software (Intacct preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment
- Experience with Medicare Advantage or ISNP entities
- Familiarity with outsourced accounting models
- CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
