Join the Long-Lewis Prattville team as a Sales Manager Assistant and help drive the success of our new- and used-vehicle sales departments. You’ll play a critical role in assisting with administrative tasks, managing key documentation, coordinating team activities, and ensuring sales operations are efficient, compliant, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily operations of the new- and used-vehicle sales departments.
Assist in managing and scheduling department staff to ensure smooth operations.
Handle administrative tasks that support sales goals and department efficiency.
Help develop budgets, forecast goals, and track progress for the sales team.
Monitor CIT (Contracts in Transit) and ensure timely funding.
Prepare and process title applications.
Provide administrative support to the Sales Managers and finance team.
Collaborate on sales meetings, regulatory compliance, and cross-department coordination.
Assist with inventory management and help ensure dealership policies are followed.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all tasks.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency with computer software (Microsoft Office, email, dealership systems).
Basic math skills for reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
Previous dealership or automotive finance experience is a plus, but not required.
Professional, proactive, and a team-oriented attitude.
