Long-Lewis of Cullman is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in automotive parts and accessories to assist customers both in person and over the phone. You will be responsible for locating parts from our inventory and external sources, ensuring that customers receive the right products promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by accurately answering questions and fulfilling customer needs regarding automotive parts and accessories.
- Locate parts within our inventory or from external sources (vendors, online platforms, other dealerships) and coordinate delivery or customer pick-up.
- Maintain an organized parts counter and ensure inventory is accurately tracked and managed.
- Utilize computer systems for order processing, inventory management, and customer interactions.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on automotive parts and service offerings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive parts sales, with a preference for experience in a Ford dealership.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and basic computer skills, with the ability to complete online training programs.
