As a Regional Director of Production, you are responsible for hiring, developing, training, managing and enhancing the skills and knowledge of our production and installation teams. Your expertise in production, training and techniques, coupled with your proficiency in systems and technology, will be instrumental in driving performance, achieving business objectives and providing top-of-the-line customer experience. The Regional Director of Production is responsible for building world-class production teams to achieve profitability goals. This position can be based anywhere within the assigned region, with up to 30% travel.
- Lead and manage regional Production Managers, Supervisors, and teams to meet revenue targets, KPIs, maintain product expertise and deliver ‘best in class’ customer service and installation services, including measuring and labor (PO Processing).
- Provide daily oversight and ongoing coaching to ensure entire regional Production team’s alignment with company goals, quality/safety standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all jobs are completed on and within budget for all product lines (Roofing, Baths, Window, Doors, etc.)
- Own regional A/R, collection and processing within Salesforce until paid in full.
- Own the subcontractor process (hiring, onboarding, renewal, termination, etc.) and ensure subcontractors assigned to a job are authorized to perform the work within the state approved within Salesforce.
- Review subcontractor installation POs and invoices and ensure our costs are in line with expectations.
- Coordinate vehicle management and maintenance and coordinate with Corporate on auto, worker’s comp and general liability insurance matters.
- Own safety management process and enforcement.
- Work with legal department to resolve customer related matters and to prevent escalation.
- Work with insurance adjustors and ensure insurance compliance.
- Conduct in-field, classroom, remote and digital trainings that covers current LHP product offerings, the installation methods, home improvement industry standards and technology needs, such as Salesforce.
- Manage warehouse facilities and warehouse team members throughout the region to ensure materials are received, tracked and updated accurately and timely within Salesforce.
- Read all GQ surveys in region and confirm customers are getting same-day callback from appropriate team member.
- Monitor individual and team results through performance reviews, audit of quality assurance and conformity to company policies and train as needed.
- Facilitate onboarding process for new Production team members, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and specific job responsibilities.
- Manage training logistics for new Production hires, including inventory, scheduling, travel, etc. as needed.
- Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Operations and Executive Leadership
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 7 years proven leadership experience in home improvement Operations/Production
- Proven track record of leading diverse teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiencies
- Proficient in project management software and operational management tools
