Position Purpose
You will join LONG’s Accounting and Payroll team to process weekly, biweekly & monthly payrolls on a set schedule, prepare weekly Certified Payroll Reports and assist with the preparation and review of monthly union filings.
Pay Range: $25 - $27.88 per hr. plus potential profit share.

- Process weekly, biweekly & monthly payroll, including timesheet collection, data entry, payroll processing, and tax payments.
- Develop an understanding of payroll processes across multiple systems and assist in auditing timesheets and payroll inputs for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare weekly Certified Payroll Reporting and assist with monthly union filings.
- Prepare journal entries in conjunction with payroll processing.
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll related inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Other Duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one year of office or administrative experience.
- Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability within a team environment.
- Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to identify discrepancies, data entry errors, and inconsistencies of yourself and others, using various tools and methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively identify solutions.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and task prioritization skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations or other Accounting and ERP Software.
- Experience with certified payroll reporting and union reporting.
